About

I’m Kelly—but for over a decade I’ve answered to Khaos. The name was gifted to me by a dear friend in high school, and over time, it became more than a nickname—it became a reflection of who I am. A little wild, a little unpredictable, but always creating.

I’ve always been an explorer in the world of art, chasing mediums, searching for the one that would feel like home. It wasn’t until I discovered silversmithing that everything finally clicked—loud, bright, and undeniable. In July 2018, I stumbled across a silversmith’s Instagram page, and what started as curiosity quickly became an obsession. I immersed myself in the craft—consuming tutorials, pouring over metalsmithing books, teaching my hands to do what my heart had already decided.

By December of that year I lit my first torch and Forged In Khaos was born.

Each piece I create begins with the stone. I’ve spent years cultivating relationships with miners, mine owners, and lapidary artists, so I can personally select stones that resonate with me—stones that hum with their own energy. Some I’ll work with immediately. Others I’ll tuck away, letting them rest until the right moment arrives.

My process is entirely intuitive. I rarely sketch and I never force it. I sit at my bench, take the stone in hand, and let it guide me. I follow its curves, its story, adding elements—stamps, silver wire, scattered shots—whatever flows naturally. Sometimes the vision is clear from the start. Other times, it unfolds slowly, like a conversation between the silver and the stone.

I never know exactly where I’m going, but that’s the beauty of it.
I create in the chaos—and that’s where the magic lives.
